My husband took me to see a show in London back in mid June. We stayed overnight and did some walking (a lot more walking then we thought we would) and shopping the next day. It just happened to be the same day as the birthday celebration for Prince Phillip. We also just happened to be staying right around the corner from Buckingham Palace, meaning the route we had planned to take from the hotel to Covenant Garden Market was cut off by a parade route. While trying to figure out how to get where we wanted to go we walked through Green Park. This offered new views of the palace and the city of London
